Reparations are debt, not charity that is owed to the American Descendants of Chattel Slavery in the United States. Whites in America have 90% of the wealth while Blacks have 2.6% of the wealth. Our belief is that full and complete reparations for Black Americans is the only way to close the lineage racial wealth gap. We will fight at the local, state, and federal levels to make this a reality. Recently we have been involved with the organizing efforts at the local level in the City of Saint Paul to work on the Saint Paul Recovery Act which will establish reparations for the America Descendants of Slavery who reside in Saint Paul.
